The room had a comfortable bed with a stunning view of the ocean and the city. The private terrace was a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in even more of the beautiful scenery. The bathroom was clean and had a shower and bath. The hosts were friendly and helpful, offering local recommendations. The location was convenient, with easy access to the city center. Plus, the hotel had parking available.
During our stay, the room was not cleaned and we did not receive fresh towels. We also ran out of toilet paper and had to purchase our own.

The view from my room was breathtaking, the perfect backdrop for my morning coffee. The owners were extremely helpful. I felt like a local, even though I had no idea where I was most of the time.
I just loved how far away it was from everything. So convenient!

The room was perfect for me with a kitchen that had everything I needed to cook simple meals. The flat-screen TV was a great companion for unwinding after a long day of exploring Funchal. I loved having a private bathroom with a bidet, it made me feel like I was at home. The washing machine in the room was a handy feature, I didn't have to worry about finding a laundromat. The patio in the room was a delightful spot to enjoy my morning coffee and soak up the sunshine. The soundproofing in the room was a godsend, I had a peaceful and quiet stay. The suite with a stovetop was a fantastic option for anyone who enjoys cooking their meals.
Personally, I found the soundproofing to be a little too effective, I couldn't hear any outside noise at all.
